The Praise and Worship Team was birthed out of an intense desire, led by the Holy Spirit, to dedicate one service where praise, honor, and glory are offered up to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

This service, which is held every 1st Tuesday of each month, began over 12 years ago. Songs of praise, worship, and deliverance, which are scriptural based, are sung, led by the praise and worship leaders, until the power of the Lord is ushered in by the Holy Spirit.

The anointing of the Holy Spirit is manifested through hearings, deliverance, rhema words of God, and testimonies of His grace and mercy. At the culmination of the service, Pastor Turner always has an anointed word for all. Those who come with a need are ministered to in the way the Holy Spirit leads.

It is with the deepest, heartfelt prayer of Pastor Turner and the praise and worship leaders that the spirit of this Praise and Worship Ministry will permeate throughout the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, touching each member, each auxiliary, each ministry, and every situation with the spirit of David - that is to say, the spirit of praise and worship. For God wants to heal, deliver and set the captive free. And when praise is offered up, the blessings come down. For God does inhabit the praises of His people.
